Asset Categories & Classification
Assets are assigned to a category (equipment type) which is used to determine which inspection and media template to display.
Initial Category Selection
In the Create Inspection workflow, if an Asset is not yet categorized, select the proper category to ensure the appropriate inspection template is loaded. Once the category for an Asset is selected once, it does not need to be selected again. Alternatively, the category can be added or updated at any time from the Assets menu.
Changing a Category
In the Assets menu, search for the asset to edit, and update the Category field.
